Twaalfde dies natalis Protestantse Theologische Universiteit

De Protestantse Theologische Universiteit (PThU) viert haar twaalfde verjaardag. Het programma is in het Engels.

The Theologian of the Future
What kind of leaders does the church need? What place will church and faith have in society in the future? And what knowledge and skills should a future theologian have? That’s what the 12th dies natalis of the PThU is all about. We cordially invite you to attend the programme on this festive day.

Lecture ‘Faith in a Disenchanted World’
During the academic ceremony, Prof. Dr. Joep de Hart will give a lecture entitled Faith in a Disenchanted World. De Hart is endowed professor of Church and World and senior researcher at the Netherlands Institute for Social Research (Sociaal Cultureel Planbureau).

Songs from the past, present and future
Together with our students from abroad, the Vocal Theologians Ensemble (VTE) will be singing a range of songs from the width of the church. From Gregorian chant to spirituals, from Bach to gospel, from classical to 21st century. The VTE is conducted by Dr. Hanna Rijken.
